This project reinterprets the garden of the Belgian Ambassador’s Residence through a dialogue between classical French garden principles and a Japan-inspired planting palette. Formal structure, symmetry, and clear axes provide the spatial framework, while softer, more nuanced vegetation introduces seasonal variation and a refined atmosphere.

The garden is conceived as a reception space, designed to host official events and diplomatic gatherings. The project was developed through direct meetings with representatives and officials, ensuring that the design responds to both ceremonial requirements and the representational role of the residence.
